About Me

Hello! I am Ms. Regi and I am the BTSALP Visual Arts Specialist here at Riley Elementary. I am very excited to work with all the magnificent Eagle artists during our weekly classes. Our art classroom is a safe place for everyone to explore, take risks, and create. In this way, we will make connections to grade level curriculum through math concepts, scientific discovery, world history, and language arts. Moreover, the students will learn about the world around them, as well as learn about themselves and their unique forms of self-expression. We will experiment with different mediums, and experience the “joy of mark making” (and it will sometimes get messy)! But, to be sure, as we jump into a creative process, we will also embrace a reflective practice. I am passionate about the arts and teaching, and most of all, I am honored to be working with the wonderful students, staff, and community of Riley Elementary.

UPDATE: I miss making art with you during this school closure, but I want you to keep creating! Please visit the new art site I have created to share lessons with you. I will also share it with your teacher on Class Dojo to give you weekly updates. Here’s the link:
