About Me

It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I get to become a member of the Riley Elementary community!  I am truly thrilled to be appointed to this position, and am looking forward to assisting Dr. Martin to positively impact every student’s performance and school experience.

I have lived in Utah (Draper and West Valley City) for six years and have taught in elementary schools during those years.  I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and then from University of Utah with a degree in Educational Administration.  I have spent my career as a Fifth Grade and Sixth Grade Teacher before taking on this new and exciting endeavor with Riley Elementary as an Assistant Principal.  My decision to become an administrator came from a strong desire to make a positive impact on an entire school community as well as the desire to help build the capacity of teachers and students as we prepare students to become positive members of society.

Parents, teachers, support staff, community and administration all play a part in helping our students meet and exceed our expectations of them.  I am looking forward to meeting each and every one of you as the school year progresses. You will find that my door is always open and I am always here to support you in any possible way, because Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM).
